Five Steps to Fixing your Sprinkler System.

Five Steps to Fixing your San Diego Sprinkler System

Sprinkler systems function off of pressure and the flow your water system. Depending on the advantages of how deep your system is installed, is how hard fixing your leak will be.

1) To find out where your the leak is coming from turn on the water system. You will find one of the sprinklers losing pressure. This would be a sign of a leak.

2) After that you want to dig a 5 by 5 foot area around the area to make sure you have enough room to find where the pipe is actually broken.

3) Once you find the leak turn of the water system. Take pipe cutters and make two slices about 3 inches apart around the leak.

4) From your local hardwood store, place the proper fittings and pipping glue to join the two pipes together. If you have trouble doing this, anyone at your local hardwood store may be able to help you.

5) Fill back in the dirt and sod from step two. If the any of these steps are to difficult, feel free to contact Andy's Landscaping.
